If the stain contains red wine, replace the detergent with hydrogen peroxide.

Next, cover the stain thickly with plaster, cover with plastic wrap and wrap it well to keep it moist. Let it sit overnight.

Remove the plastic sheeting after 24 hours, but do not remove the cast. This is very important, because with the drying and volatilization of the water in the gypsum, the water in the stone absorption basin can be sucked out through the siphon phenomenon, and then the stains can be pulled out.

After the plaster is naturally dry in the shade, you can use a blade or putty knife to remove the plaster, and then use water and a neutral detergent to remove residual stains.

Note that granite is more difficult to clean, it will take more time to clean and keep it wet for a longer time. Also, if most of the stains have been cleaned, but there are some stains left, which make the surface of the stone dull, you can try this method again every one week or more.
